Michael co-founded Langclub and leads its discussion sessions. He holds an MA in the Humanities from Johns Hopkins University.

He has run live English discussion and debate sessions for intermediate and advanced learners (B2–C1) from more than 140 countries, and designed Langclub's university programmes with partners including Busan University of Foreign Studies and LPU Batangas.

On the Langclub blog he writes about discussion topics, debate technique and the language advanced speakers actually use.
